How the app works

PELKAN is a buyer-assistance utility for chefs and HoReCa purchasers. Its core features are a Cost-per-Cover Calculator and a Menu Portion Planner. Both tools run entirely on the device; the values you type stay on your phone.

Information handled on the device

The only value the app persists is your language preference (English or Ukrainian), stored locally with Android's standard SharedPreferences mechanism. No account creation, no sign-in, no registration, no profile, no photos, no contacts.

Third-party components

The app includes two third-party technical components:

• Google Play Services — included because the app is distributed via Google Play and relies on the platform's runtime and verification components.
• Google Fonts — used to render typography (Fraunces and DM Sans).

No advertising SDKs. No attribution SDKs. No analytics SDKs. No crash-reporting SDKs. No push-notification SDKs.

Contact flow

The in-app contact action opens your device's email client with a pre-composed message to info@pelkan.shop. The email travels via your own mail provider; PELKAN does not transmit it.

Privacy policy link

A privacy link in the app opens this page in the external browser. No in-app browser or WebView is used.

Children

The app is intended for professional chefs and F&B buyers. It contains no content designed for children.
